Lockdown Encapsulant
Control Lockdown encapsulant is a
unique blend of acrylic copolymers and surface active agents
which effectively bonds to and encapsulates particulate matter
such as asbestos and lead based paint. The bonding process reduces
the risk of the particulate becoming airborne thus minimizing
the associated health risk. The cured film provides a long lasting,
durable barrier with excellent primer characteristics for spray-back
and water based latex architectural coatings. The product effectively
penetrates and improves the cohesive strength of the substrate.
